Teleportation Training

Mew had found him again.

Mewtwo wasn't surprised by that. After all, the caves underneath the Pokémon Village were few and far between; checking all of them would take just under an hour through standard means. No, what surprised him was how quickly the pink feline had searched him out. He must've just come out of using teleport before the mythical mon appeared in a flash right beside him. This was different than what the littler cat called "games of hide-and-seek"; Mew wanted something, something important, and Mewtwo had a feeling that his predecessor wasn't going to leave before they got it.

"Come onnnnnnn, Mewtwo!" said Mew with a pout as he materialized into the cavern. "I've got something new to show you, don't leave now!"

The psychic was unimpressed by mere words. "Is it anything of actual importance or is it another toy?" he groaned. "I am losing patience for the latter."

"No, it's not another toy, it's something wayyyyy better than that!" cried Mew as he slumped atop a stalagmite. "I've come up with a new battle technique. This one's gonna revolutionize fighting!"

Now this was interesting. Mewtwo hated to admit it, but beneath the cheerful exterior of Mew laid a mind that was capable of learning any move on the planet if he tried hard enough. The mythical being had seen it all in terms of brawling, so if the little cat had even a grain of truth in what he was saying...

Mewtwo stood up from his meditative stance, hovering up with a burst of psychic energy into the fresh air of the cave system. Mew followed suit, in silent acknowledgment that he finally had a captive audience. That silence did not last long:

"So, I got the idea the other day when we were playing hide-and-seek, y'know," blabbered Mew, as oblivious to the true nature of that game as ever. "You were getting so far ahead of me that I started getting frustrated, and of course when I get frustrated I use Frustration (everyone know that), so I kept accidentally attacking when I meant to teleport!"

"Mew, I understand you're excited but-"

"And so pretty soon I'd forgotten where you were and I was instead just practicing my attacks! That was when I wondering what else I could teleport. I first started by just transporting some of the pebbles around here, but once I realized that was basically just Stealth Rock I quickly moved on from that."

"Mew, out with it-"

"I will, I will! I just need to mention the Zubat I talked to who helped me come up with the idea! He's the best, and really deserves all the credit. I asked him what things I should consider teleporting throughout the caves, and once I got done playing hind-and-seek with them they absolutely inspired me with the best idea in the history of ideas!"

"Mew. Tell me what the idea is." Mewtwo calmness as he spoke belayed the fact that he was already beginning to charge up another psychic teleport in case Mew's Storytime continued off-track even further.

"Fineeeeee, I'll tell you, Mr. Boring Story Ruiner. The Zubat gave me the idea to combine moves with my teleport! I could send a Leaf Blade a mile away to hit a target, or a Blast Burn through a rock wall!" The mythical mon's eyes narrowed smugly as he readied up a request. "I just need someone to help workshop my plans."

Mewtwo sighed. An impromptu battle was more than he was expecting from this meeting with Mew, something that guaranteed he wouldn't be returning to his meditation anytime soon. Yet, tiring out Mew would get his predecessor out of his metaphorical hair for the time being, a nice long break if there ever was one...

It was decided. A warmup would be preferable than trying to dodge Mew once again.

"I believe I can help you with that, Mew." said Mewtwo with another sigh. "Ready yourself and try to attack me with your new technique."

"Alright!" squeaked Mew, flipping through the air with glee before assuming a casual battle stance. Concentrating his aura, a rush of verdant chartreuse energy began to disperse from his arms. Raising his minuscule arms, the pink feline locked eyes with the white one and initiated a strike. As his arms came down, though, Mew's aura suddenly changed, his body flashing a brilliant fuchsia instead. This split second of energy changing was all that was necessary; Mewtwo could feel the energy that once surrounded the mythical now traversing through time and space, from clear across the cavern all the way over to...

Right behind him.

Instincts took over; Mewtwo slid out of the way just as a Leaf Blade materialized out of nothingness, emerald waves of leaf-shaped energy clawing at the air, taking a poor stalactite with them before dispersing into nothingness. The waves had a familiar pink sheen accompanying them, further evidence that they had been teleported as easily as the Pokémon had previously been.

"Aw, patrats!" cried the wispy voice of the waves' creator. Mewtwo smirked; looks like Mew was expecting an easy hit. Warmup or no, the living experiment wasn't one to give himself up so easy. If Mew wanted real practice, he was going to have to work for it.

Mew's entirety glowed crimson this time, before once again flashing fuchsia. This was all the warning Mewtwo needed, in a second he was elegantly dodging an eerily well-placed Flamethrower that came from the thin air. From there the training would only ramp up in intensity, Mew flashing like a store display as he cycled through a veritable spectrum of lights that would quickly manifest into short-ranged attacks turned-long. Fury Swipes, Thunder Fang, Stored Power, Quick Attack; all of these moves appeared as if special effects on timers, effortlessly coming out far away from their manifest-er in a flurry of elemental blows. Already the experiment was a huge success, but it was missing one key element: translating those blows into successful attacks.

Mewtwo was practically precognizant in that regard, dancing through the air as he smoothly avoided strike after strike. A small pile of debris would build up in the aftermath of the barrage, the stalactite formations above brutally cut down to size as Mew's attempts to make contact continued to yield zero results. Whatever he brought out, the larger feline simply wouldn't go down to it, and soon Mew himself was furiously moving throughout the air alongside Mewtwo, punching and kicking flat air and growing only more frustrated with each teleported swing.

"Augh! Stop moving!" cried Mew at last. This kind of rage was rare for the mythical, but Mewtwo was happy to see it come out all the same. Mew was tiring out at last, and with that development would come a point of easy escape.

"Hmmph. Tapping out so quickly?" scoffed Mewtwo, smirking over his sparring partner's disdain.

"I'm not getting the testing I need!" continued Mew. "I want to see how strong my attacks are when they're teleported, and I can't do that when you. keep. dodging them!"

Mewtwo stifled a laugh. "Mew, you knew I wasn't going to hold back. Keep trying and I'm sure you'll make contact eventually."

"Arrgh!" Mew floated back down to the cave floor, head in his hands. 'Eventually' was very much not the answer he wanted. "Can you just give me a free hit or something? I'm dying to see the effects of a teleported attack!"

Maybe that will speed things along, thought Mewtwo. Hovering down to meet Mew, he assumed a docile pose.

"Fine then. I'll give you just the one. Aim for my center and don't restrain yourself!"

Mew's expression immediately lifted, as did his body. Floating up into Mewtwo's face, he pointed at the humanoid cat defiantly.

"Alright, one attack in your middle, coming right up!" Mew's body glowed once more, this time a deep sapphire before fading into fuchsia. The attack was sent out, the only question now for Mewtwo was where. He analyzed his immediate surroundings, only to feel nothing in terms of disturbances. Directly above and below him also held no clues as to the oncoming strike's placement. Where else did that leave? Mewtwo had a sinking feeling in his stomach as he continued to dart his eyes around the open cavern.

...A really sinking feeling in his stomach, actually. It wasn’t nausea coming from within him, more of a sensation of pure pressure. Mewtwo stared downwards at his stomach. The oncoming attack couldn't have teleported inside him, could it?

"...Mew?" asked Mewtwo. "What move did you fire at me?"

"Why, Hydro Pump, of course! One directly to your center, like you said!"

Mewtwo had no time to react to Mew's statement. Suddenly the pressure had increased a hundredfold, and in seconds pure energy began to materialize inside of him. The first trickling of high-powered water began to flow forth, collecting deep in his belly with no signs of stopping. Instantly Mewtwo felt full, and if he was feeling that way then-

PHWOOSH!

-then all that water was going to stretch its container. Instantly Mewtwo's belly bulged out, white and purple skin distending as if being pulled apart by some unseen force. His paunch only continued to bloat outwards from there, swelling to the size of a basketball, then a beachball as it churned forwards and downwards, pulled by gravity.

"M-Mew, what have y-you done..." squeaked Mewtwo, his voice tense with anger.

The rhetoric was answered by himself as his stomach continued to lurch forward, extreme water weight dragging towards to the ground at an alarming rate. Mewtwo tried to pick himself up with additional psychic force, but it was no use- the torrent inside the ballooning feline was causing him to gain faster than even he could keep up with, sending him spiraling down, down, down...

Mewtwo hit the rock flooring with a hot, wet *THWAP*, sloshing back and forth as he tried to take control of his ever-bloating bean bag of a belly. That too was futile, as his stomach spread upwards and outwards beneath him, jiggling his entirety without so much as a care towards him. The pumping within was positively rampaging now, flooding his systems and casing his entirety with water. Mewtwo could feel it all over now; his limbs and chest were putting on water weight in the blink of an eye, phwumping up like pool toys atop the swimming pool of a belly he now possessed. Even his tail was slowly growing, the purple mass growing fat with liquid as it transformed into a plum-colored fat deposit for its aquatic invader.

The psychic's belly, however remained the crown jewel of his sudden bloat. As it grew it began to support more and more of Mewtwo below it until the rest of the filling feline was firmly stuck on top of the waterbed-sized gut. Mewtwo's limbs swelled further beyond, growing limp as the weights surrounding them turned them into little more than taut drums that could do little more than rest. The psychic-type couldn't even feel the Hydro Pump dying down inside him by that point; there was simply too much liquid between him and the expulsion point to make out anything.

Fitting, as there was little of Mewtwo to make out by that point. The once emaciated mon had inflated like an emergency life raft, rendered into little more than a series of overblown tubes atop a half-white, half-purple balloon that easily cleared eight feet across. Deep on top of that balloon sat Mewtwo's face, his chubby muzzle sunken into an ample ring of neck fat.

"M-M-Mew...." moaned Mewtwo, his voice practically tinged with incredible moisture. "H-how did you... W-why did you..."

Mew answered neither of those questions. "Sweet Arceus," The mythical mon said as he overlooked his handiwork. "I completely immobilized you with just one attack!"

"I k-know that." sloshed Mewtwo, too full to even feign anger towards Mew at this point. "Now, get all this water out of m-me..."

The pink cat shrugged. "Eh, I'm sure it'll all come out eventually. Anyway, think of all the battle implications this has! I could teleport a Flame Charge into you, or an Explosion, or a Thunderbolt..."

Mewtwo tried to shudder as Mew listed even more horribly expansive attacks that could be stuffed into an unwilling opponent. Keyword being tried, as he had absolutely zero room left in him to contort his body. The psychic was completely at the mercy of his ballooned self, and that self was content to keep him jiggling and gurgling like a massage chair set to vibrate.

"Mew, please, the water... I'm so full... so stretched." his breathing was coming out labored now, stress taking its toll fairly quickly on the poor legendary mon.

"What, do you want more?" Mew asked absentmindedly. "I mean, I've already won against you once, it'd be poor sportsmanship to battle you while you're still recovering."

"Mew that's not *urp* what I meant-"

"Besides, you're only the first of the training partners I wanted to duel! Celebi said she'd tussle with me once she was done tending to the forest, and I wouldn't want to break a date like that. I need to leave soon and show her what I learned!"

Leave? The gigantic water balloon that was Mewtwo couldn't take it anymore.

"MEW, I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO POP! I NEED YOU TO STOP MESSING AROUND AND-"

Mewtwo was interrupted by a flash of pink light. Mew had vanished, teleporting away to Arceus-knows-where in preparation for his next challenge. That left Mewtwo alone by himself, still stuffed to the gills with water energy and with no signs of the waves within receding.

I'm going to squash that little cretin when I get out of this. thought Mewtwo as his rotundity wobbled in the dim light. That was all he could really do, really. Normal movement was beyond impossible, and his psychic powers would require coordination and careful movement, things he simply wasn't capable of when he was the size of a small automobile. The feline let out the weakest of sighs; for the time being, he was a big wet blimp instead of a mon.

Might as well lean into it, at least. The experience of weighing a solid (Mew)two tons was surprisingly relaxing now that his inflator had left the scene. Atop his ocean of a stomach, Mewtwo drifted back and forth like an ocean cruise liner through choppy seas, the rhythmic motions practically hypnotizing the psychic-type as he unintentionally kneaded himself. Those motions let loose an aquatic symphony as he moved; his ears were flush with the sounds of the internal sea he held within him, overpowering his senses and introducing a new emotion to his turmoil, one that against all odds was of bliss.

Mewtwo shut his eyes tight, listening to his stomach gurgling and churning. Floating inside of himself... that was a kind of meditation, wasn't it? Maybe he was just trying too hard to make light of a bad situation, but for several fleeting seconds he could feel something more emanating within him:

The taut peace of having become both swimmer and swimming pool.

He was still going to destroy Mew well after this, but for now, Mewtwo was content to just float, stuffed and swollen along the cave floor. Soon enough, the mon entered an exhausted slumber, and the cavern's walls resonated with truly waterlogged snores.
